Great week at the beach. We were a party of 6 plus 2 dogs. The home was large enough for all. The bedrooms and baths were large, furniture was clean and comfortable . I wondered why prior ratings said the condition of the property was rated less than 5 stars. Here are a few minor issues that I saw. The deck was very weathered, but given the conditions in Fl I can see why. The stovetop in the kitchen worked fine but a bit beat up and needed a tile or metal backsplash. The hardwood floors were pretty a small vacuum to clean them would have come in handy. Sand would stick in the grooves making the broom/dust mop useless. The beach was beautiful sometimes we were the only one there. Fishing in the gulf and crabbing in the bay was great! We enjoyed the watching the wildlife many frogs and lizards at the house plus the pelicans fishing all day on the Gulf . Bring your bug spray for the mosquitos at night! I did choose this neighborhood for the pool and hot tub, listed on the Costal Joe website. However, the hot tub had been removed long ago according to other renters I talked to.
