townhoiuse was ncie except for stains in carpet and the carpet was worn out in materbedroom area.
We really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back next year!
We had the most wonderful time!!! I left Houston full of stress and came back recharged and ready to go again. The place is beautiful worth the long drive. The beach is to die for. My husband was not too crazy with the idea of going to the beach for vacation is more an out door kind of guy, hiking is his thing. He loved it and said he wants to come back maybe next year or for the holidays. The beach was not crowded at all the closet person to us was probably 15 to 20 feet away; there is plenty of space for everyone. We even saw dolphins from the sea shore. The town was lovely. We are definitely including this place in our family vacation top 10 list.
great condo/proximity to beach. Need more restaurants on Cape. Getting food in inconvenient. Have to drive 20miles for dinner...
We had a great time! The only thing that I thought needed a little improvement would be the pots/pans,bowls,cooking utensils.(Could use replacing the skillets and some of the cooking utensils, needed more bowls). We did make due with what was available. The unit was really nice and very clean. We will stay there again!
Overall, the worst moment of our honeymoon was having to leave early because of "Fay!" We had a great time in our condo "Cape Escape" and the home was very nicely renovated and decorated, with a fantastic shower! We could tell the home owners and Coastal Joe's paid attention to detail and they even arranged to leave house keys out for us to pick up at our 2 am check-in.
*Bedspreads/blankets were visibly soiled, and I ended up having to wash them early in our stay *Bathmats in master bath were dirty and also had to be washed *There were hotdogs cooked and left inside the gas grill *The lamp in the small bedroom upstairs was broken (the stem for turning it on), there was no bulb, and the shade appeared to have soda sprayed all over the inside*Owner claimed beach chairs and umbrellas and bicycles were available. There was only one bike, one functioning beach chair, and one working umbrella* There was something resembling fruit punch (it was red) spilled down the nightstand in the master bedroom and also sprayed on the closet door * While I cannot be sure, there may have been some sort of bugs (fleas/mites?) in the bedding. I ultimately placed a blanket over the fitted sheet in the master bedroom, and I stopped waking up with bites on exposed parts of my body.
We have stayed at this location twice now and we love it! However this year it did not seem to be as clean as it should have been! We were very happy with everything accept the cleanliness!
Our trip to Cape San Blas was wonderful. The best part was that the condo and beach welcomed my whole family (me and hubby and two dogs). The condo was very clean, very comfortable, and provided everything we needed for a relaxed week at the beach. Thanks!
