Adventures in Paradise

Adventures in Paradise describes it perfectly from the location to the house. This is our 3rd year spending vacations in Oct and Nov of each year here in Cape San Blas and at Adventures in Paradise. It is so hard to leave I wish I could stay here forever. Just a short walk to the beach, fenced it yard and house is wonderful having everything you could ask for. We hope to visit when we can get in the pool as it is usually too cold in Nov & Dec when we get to vacation. Hope to be back in Dec.

As usual Coastal Joes was great. The home was super, well equipped and beautiful. We would definitely book here again.

Adventures in Paradise was perfect for our "babymoon" with our 2 dogs. The house is very nicely appointed and super clean. The fenced yard and porch in the back made it super easy to let the fur babes out, and we loved having the private pool as well. The beach is just a short walk down the pathway. Overall, this is a 10/10 for us and we would love to stay here again sometime in the future.

My family and I traveled down to Cape San Blas for our daughters spring break vacation. We absolutely fell in love with the property. The added bonus was the property was pet friendly. Would highly recommend this location. The views were just breath taking, was also a short walk to the beach. The property was clean and ready for us upon arrival. Our dog loved to lay out on the deck relaxing in the sun, and we loved that everything was gated to keep him contained. Thank you Coastal Joe’s for such a wonderful experience. Will definitely be back next year.

We had a great experience. The house was well equipped with kitchen aids. Furniture was comfortable. Bedrooms were great. Enjoyed the pool . Great location in between the Trading Post and Scallop Cove. The beach is awesome. Loved the house .

I rented this home because of the fenced yard for my dogs. We absolutely loved staying here. The Coastal Joe staff was very helpful. This house didn't have a vacuum cleaner so I contacted Coastal Joe. They brought me one to use during my stay the same day. The views from the third deck are stunning. The neighbors (Pat & Dan) are very nice. The only things that I feel would improve the vacation are a curtain or blinds for the sliding door in the living room, dishwasher detergent (they give you one), toilet paper, and more than one trash bag. Also, a couple of high back Adirondack chairs for the upper deck. The bed I slept in was comfortable. The beach was beautiful. The cargo lift was excellent for unloading and loading my car. My dogs and I really enjoyed the time we spent at this house.

The house was wonderful,lots of space, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Loved the view from the master bedroom and short walk to the beach. Will definietly plan to visit again soon. Only negative thing I can say is the trees were tall blocking the view of the ocean from the living room

The house was fantastic and had everything we needed, with the bonus of the fenced in dog area! The walk to the beach was easy, going to get the best donuts was very close, and there was ample space in the entire house!
And if we needed anything Coastal Joe was super easy to communicate with!

This house is the best , very comfortable, clean , up to date decor, close to the beach, I am 55 and have arthritis but the walk to the beach was very manageable. The house has all the essentials ,well stocked kitchen, dishes, cookware, storage containers , appliances, coffee pot, Kureg,toaster,blender. My grandkids loved the pool, just wished the pool had lights , we always stayed as late as we could. Beach accessory room has lots of supplies , 3 wheel bike, pool floats, life jackets, beach chairs , sand toys ,body broads and much more. My family of seven had a great week, didn't want to leave and can't wait to come back.

The house is really third row from the beach, the walk to the beach is about a football field long. A easy walk to the Weber’s Donut trailer and the local store/gas station. Layout of house was accurate, it does have stairs on all floors, cargo lift worked, only goes to the main level, house was clean, can’t really see the ocean from the mail level porch because of the trees, but can see it from the 3rd or 4th level decks, check in was easy, management company easy to work with, pool was a plus, many beach chairs and beach items provided in the storage room to use. Clean gas grill outside, One of the things needed was a portable ice maker. We always enjoy Weber’s Donuts, cash only and a waiting line everyday. The Piggly Wiggly in Port St Joe is the only major grocery store close by. We cook all our meals and don’t eat out. We would recommend this property, we had 6 adults and 4 kids.

We really enjoyed where we stayed. There were some hiccups, but I feel that was from previous tenants, like dirty pots and pans. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay and can't wait to come back. The house was wonderful and we were relaxed from the second we walked in the door:)

This house is in an awesome location directly in between the trader shop and gas station making it very convenient to walk either direction. Great unobstructed view of the water. House was clean and had anything you could possibly need to cook from the house. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great kitchen- so well stocked with cookware-Tupperware-lots of gadgets—our dog loved the Sandy fenced in yard off the back deck-house was clean-sliding glass doors could have been cleaned for the great sunsets-
4 bedrooms and 4 clean bathrooms -great floor plan -plenty of space for everyone—too chilly during Christmas week for the pool but a beautiful setting—great location to get to the beach quickly—suggestions—more dish towels in the kitchen- and directions included for using the televisions-quick response from the maintenance man-showing me how to use the bedroom television-l cargo lift was very helpful- overall really fantastic rental home! We had our stay planned for almost a year. This was our son's first trip to the beach and probably our pups' last trip. Sally decided to make things interesting for sure. We had 2 days of decent weather but otherwise were stuck inside. Luckily, the house was very spacious and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

We had the BEST time at this rental!! The pups even had a great time ! Short walk to the beach , great views from the porch ! Walking distance to the delicious donut shop and store . The house was amazing , we had everything we needed and the beds were so comfy!

This was by far the best vacation home we have stayed in. Very clean, fantastic location and better equipped than our own kitchen. The owners thought of everything to help make things convenient for being on a beach vacation. We were especially grateful and impressed with the beach equipment closet that was stocked with everything you could think of from chairs, sand toys, body boards, a beach cart to a bike with a basket to make a ride to the trading post easy. We loved our stay and are already planning to return.

This was a great house, very spacious and very close and short walk to the beach. Pool was a bit small, but not too small. (Didn't have a light so we couldn't enjoy night swimming) The Kitchen was beautiful and had all the gadgets you need. (And then some) Rooms were very spacious and beds were comfortable. The grocery elevator was a HUGE plus but we never did find the stand alone ice maker. All and all, the house was great for us, not to mention it had fantastic views of the ocean, especially at sunset. Thank you Coastal Joe for a great experience.

This is a very nice home located a very short walk to the beach. It is the most well equipped beach house we have stayed in. The kitchen has everything you could neeed. NiceTV s in all bedrooms and living area. The beautiful pool is a great plus. It is located half way between the two stores on the cape.

This was the most relaxing vacation I’ve taken in a very long time. The house had so many amenities, all we needed to bring was ourselves. A well stocked kitchen and supply closet made life there so easy. The kids loved the pool, the grandparents loved the short, easy walk to the beach, I loved the ice cream just up the road. Sad to see so much damage, but everyone was so welcoming and lots of work to restore was underway. If you’re there during turtle laying season, you must go on the sunrise turtle cool!

Two weeks in this lovely, well-appointed home were totally joyful! The owners have taken great care to provide a fully stocked kitchen, games, books and many beach accessories. We wanted for nothing! A short walk to the beautiful beach and wonderful views of the sunset made our stay memorable. A big "Thank You" to the owners!

Beautiful home and perfect for a family vacation. This is our 2nd year at this house and we have enjoyed it immensely. It is clean, cozy & a great kitchen with all the necessities. Just a short walk to the beautiful beach. The pool is a plus after a long beach day. The only negative thing... is the balcony railings need repaired, as some are loose. Could be a concern with small children.

We have used Coastal Joe several times. They are great to work with. Their descriptions of the properties are accurate on their website. Their employees are always friendly and professional. We have already rented the same house for next year.

My family felt that the beach was farther away than described. There are lots of stairs so if you have issues with stairs, rent a different place. I thought that there were a lot of added charges like $70 for linens? Be sure to take your own towels & wash cloths because few are provided as well as kitchen cloths. The rental could've been cleaned more thoroughly. As in under couches.

Adventures in Paradise is truly a Paradise! We have stayed in this home for the past 5 years and would not stay anywhere else on the Cape! It has everything you could ever need or ask for on a vacation. The Kitchen is equip to the max!! The home is always very clean when we arrive and is very comfortable for our 3 families that total 10 people. We loved the new upgraded shower in the master and the kids room trundle bed upgrade and all the other upgrades. The pool is always refreshing after a day at the beach or just for a day lounging around the pool. Let me tell you about the dumb waiter lift. OMG that thing will save your BACK, LIFE! let me tell you with our 3 families that total 10 people we bring a lot of stuff! Our first year staying in AIP they did not have the Lift and boy we sure was exhausted after hauling all our stuff up them steps! :( We had to take a dip in the pool before we could put things away for the week. LOL Thankful for the Pool!! I must say the views from this home are amazing also! Beautiful sunsets and early mornings on the decks with coffee are awesome. A short walk to the beach is so nice. This home seems like it is sitting right by its self because of where it is situated on the property. The fenced area for the dogs is great also! We Love, Love, Love, Adventures In Paradise Hands Down the Best on the Island in the eyes of Our Families. We would like to thank the owners for allowing us to use there home and for the wonderful upgrades and all the amenities they have in the home. This house was perfect for our family. We very much enjoyed our stay. The house is very nice and extremely clean (which to me is most important). The kitchen was wonderfully stocked and organized. We enjoyed the beautiful beach view. The walk to the beach is short. We brought wagons which was nice. The pool was great. Our stay was so wonderful we have already booked next year!

We had the best experience renting this house from Coastal Joe. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything you might need for cooking and the beach. Since we had a lot of rain days the first part of trip, we were glad to see many books to chose from, puzzles and even many movies to watch that the homeowner provided. The pool was also a great option for many of us after a day at the beach. I can think of only one thing that would be nice to add is a screened in porch . However, I loved this well maintained property that suited our every need and hope to stay there each year!

Brought our 2 dogs for day after Christmas through New Years and had a fantastic stay. Have been vacationing at the Cape over 12 years at varying times throughout a year and this location was fantastic. Well equipped home, clean, our dogs loved lounging on the porch watching the sun set with us. My husband says I should say its horrible so it's always available to us :)....little too cold to use the pool, but we hope to come back.

We had a wonderful time. What beautiful views and weather was great so we were able to sit outside on the decks. One of the keys didn't seem to work. It would have been nice to be told about that door with the outside beach stuff. We thought it was a owners door but my husband tried the key the last day and was surprised about about all the cool stuff we could have enjoyed. We still had had a great time.

My stay here was great!! It was bigger than I expected!! The master bedroom was awesome and views were great. The kids loved the private pool. Plenty of pool toys and beach accessories. Plenty of kitchen accessories. Games for kids and movies. The house was very clean!! The only thing was the stairs to the beach was wiped away from hurricane but that wasn't something they could help. Other than that great trip!!

We had a wonderful time on our vacation! With the bunk room upstairs for the kids, Adventures in Paradise was perfect for our needs! The view was nice and the sunsets were beautiful! Our children loved the pool and playing in the backyard as well.

We had a wonderful time on our Family Paradice Vacation! This is our second year staying in Adventures in Paradice and we plan to stay again next year! This home is truly Paradice it has all you need for a wonderful vacation and an added feature was a surprise to us this year the "The Cargo Lift" OMG that saved our backs! Thank you for adding the lift! The pool is a must for our family and so refreshing! Coastal Joes is awesome! We had our oven go out and they were right out to take care of the problem! Also had a little thunder storm that filled the pool with lots of tree leaves and mulch. Cleaning day was Wednesday for pool but Coastal Joes came right out to vacuum the pool up on Tuesday! Thank you Coastal Joes for excellent customer service! We will see you all next year??

This was a great beach and a great house. We are especially appreciative of the house being pet friendly - for big dogs! The layout of the house allowed our fur babies to be with the family inside and out with the fenced in back yard. The beach was just steps away and also allowed our fur babies. We will definitely be returning! It is difficult to find a location and house that doesn't put a 25 lbs limit on dogs. Our babies are far beyond that and deserve vacations too so thank you Coastal Joes and the owners of Adventures in Paradise for allowing big dogs to vacation with their family.

Absolutely awesome. Between the private pool (real pool, not an oversized hot tub like some houses), the close walk to the beach (400 feetish), and all the extras in the downstairs storage, you simply cannot go wrong with this house. The only thing you need to bring are clothes and food. Everything else seems to be provided. Beach chairs and umbrellas, pool floats, snorkel gear for the kids, bicycle with a large basket on the back, and much more. The house is laid out great, and the view from the master balcony is amazing. Every bedroom has a bathroom with a shower (no bathtubs though). There is even a cargo lift from the parking area to the main floor. This kids loved playing in the fenced in front yard beach. It was like having a beach right at the house.

The only thing I would recommend is the owners throw down $20 worth of pavers from the house to the pool. Walking across the gravel driveway with no shoes is a bit painful. I think 10 $2.00 pavers would make a huge difference.

We can't wait to get back there next year.

Perfect house! Layout was great as the kitchen was on the main floor and you still had a wonderful view of the ocean. It was nice not to have to go up several flights of stairs to get to the main floor. Spacious kitchen combined with family room and large deck made for a great space for kids and dogs. The deck led out to the fenced in yard which was a lifesaver on those chilly, windy mornings. This house had everything in it's place and was fully stocked. Very close to the beach, just a short walk down the path. The only disappointment was that the 3 wheel bike advertised had a flat and didn't hold air when pumped, even if it did the handlebars didn't hold the bike straight. All bikes on island were already rented so we didn't have a bike. We will note for next time to rent early. While we didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool as much as we would have liked due to weather, it was a wonderful addition to sit by at the end of the day. This house worked out well for our family and we will be back!

Every pot, eating and cooking and dinnerware you would ever need available. Good parking arrangement. Really clean and kitchen, living room and dinning room configuration was convenient for social interaction. The only two problems encountered was weak flame in the grill and the master bedroom door would not close or lock. Would rent this house again.

Our family had a wonderful time. The house is so close to the beautiful beach and when we tired of that we were in the pool or cooling off in the house. We bought some very fresh shrimp in the area, shopped a little and relaxed. We will be looking forward to a return visit.

This is our second time staying at "Adventures in Paradise ". The location is great to both stores on the Cape. The kitchen has all the cooking supplies you need while you are away from home. Property was clean and well maintained. Coastal Joe Vaction Rentals was very professional and always helped with anything we needed! Our internet , wifi, and TV was the biggest problem. I think this is the entire area there not just at our house. We had delicious seafood from St. Joe Shrimp at home several nights. We went snorkeling with Seahorse Safaris and had a wonderful time. I recommend everyone try Weber's donuts while they are there! I would definitely recommend this property and hopefully will be returning 2016??????!

This house was just perfect for us. The decor is light and airy and the hardwood floors upstairs are nice. It is immaculate. Coastal Joe does a great job and we have rented from them the last 2 years. Great view and very close to the beach. There is no need to bring beach chairs, umbrellas or rafts. Everything that you could possibly need and more is in the downstairs storage room. We loved the outdoor shower and it was nice to jump in the pool after a day at the beach. The fenced in area in the front is great for a dog as well. Will stay here again for sure on our next trip to the Cape.

This house was perfect for our family of ten with ages from 3 to well......older. The house was clean, nicely furnished, kitchen had anything we could need. Having the private pool was a bonus, small but perfect for our group. Having all the gated areas was good for the smaller children and my small dog. Trading Post was within biking distance and had a great selection, also ice cream stands nearby. Even though not directly on beach, we still had a lovely view of sunsets.

Adventures in Paradise exceeded our expectations. The storage room with beach and pool supplies and kitchen were very well stocked. The house was roomy and comfortable, and the pool was fabulous. The walk to the beach was exactly as pictured. We also enjoyed the location on the cape with easy access to the Trading Post. We loved our vacation at Cape San Blas & will definitely consider saying at Adventures in Paradise again!

The property was every bit as nice as the pictures in the advertisements. My family and I had a great time there, lounging around the pool in the evenings after a long day at the beach. Everyone in my party wants to return in the future.

Just some little things to repair: the major screen door was not ok, there was no screen in the window room second floor (not the suite room the other one) and it would be appreciate if we have a hair dryer. But for all other things it was PERFECT.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving gathering with family, the realty was a joy to work with. Thanks to the owners for sharing your beautiful house, this cottage has everything you could need. I brought along a few items most places do not provide only to discover I did not need them. With it being a Thanksgiving dinner we could have used some medium sized pots however, all of the pots were either too small or extra large. A great time was had by all :)!

Great time! Pretty close to the beach and the place was impeccable. The balconies were nice and the pool in the back was a nice touch. It's a great place and our group would love to come back!

We had a great week at Adventures in Paradise. The home was comfortable and we liked the layout of the house. We had several issues with the TV reception and problems connecting to the Wifi, the upstairs air conditioning was not functioning properly and each time we called Coastal Joe's, they sent someone right away to take care of our issues. The TV reception was sporadic, and I feel we would have enjoyed the pool if it were heated. But our overall experience was very enjoyable. The location provided easy access to the beach, as well as the great views of the ocean from the upstairs and downstairs balconies. This would be a great home for a large family or for several families to enjoy. We also had problems with our cell phone coverage, but the house phone was great to have to make local calls.

This was the most perfect location ever. The house, pool, landscape, and beach was clean and beautiful. Was lucky enough to see a sea turtle come on the beach to lay her eggs one night, can't beat that. We liked the location because it was out from town and quite. We have stayed at numerous places but this is the cream of the crop. We started recommending this place as soon as we got back home. The Coastal Joe people are wonderful and quick to assist. The pool is a perfect refresher and very clean. We will be back in 2015! Only advice is to make sure you bring all kitchen stuff such as oil, spices, plastic wrap, trash bags, etc. Unlike some rentals, this one does not allow people to leave these items for the next person. This really is a perfect home and we can't wait to come back.

We love this house! The furnishings are very comfortable, the best beds we've slept on, the kitchen is wonderful and has many high end appliances & extras, it is very well equiped. Livingroom has a nice TV, books and games. We brought all beach gear however if you forgot something, chances are they have it in the storage room. The views are nice, the walk to the beach is easy and about 200 steps or so. If you have a dog, they have a nice fenced area for the dog to play in.
